OUR HISTORY
Started in 1954,CRMLA is an organization formed for the professional offering their services to mortgage lenders or be in the mortgage related industry of the regional area of Charlotte, North Carolina.
OUR GOALS
Our members are subject to the regulation and audits by the FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC or FDIC. Other members include real estate brokers holding a Mortgage Brokers license issued by the North Carolina Banking Commission.

OUR HISTORY
Triangle Mortgage Lenders Association (TMLA) was founded in 1987 as a professional association for mortgage lenders in Durham and Orange Counties, N.C. Membership in the Association is open to companies that provide residential mortgage financing and related services. The regular membership is comprised of financial institutions with offices in Durham and Orange Counties. Affiliate members are financial institutions and businesses that provide industry related services.
OUR GOALS
As members of the Triangle Mortgage Lenders’ Association of Durham and Orange Counties, we pledge to preserve the high moral and ethical standards established by this Association and always engage in activities that help promote the common good of all individuals affected by our respective industries.

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) represents the mortgage banking industry. Founded in 1914, the MBA's mission is to promote and advance the mortgage banking industry, to serve as a trusted resource for policymakers and the public, and to support its members through education, research, and advocacy.
With over 2,500 member companies, including mortgage bankers, commercial banks, thrifts, life insurance companies, and others involved in mortgage lending, its members originate, service, and invest in residential and commercial real estate loans.

OUR HISTORY
The Raleigh Mortgage Bankers Association was established in 1977 as the Mortgage Lenders Association with 13 members and Bob Law as its first president. In the 80s, the Association incorporated and became the Raleigh Mortgage Bankers Association with as many as 88 members.
In 1995, Raleigh Mortgage Bankers Association won the Association of the Year Award from Mortgage Bankers of the Carolinas (MBAC).
Through the Raleigh MBA’s dedication to community involvement, its ethical approach to mortgage banking and its devotion to educating its membership regarding industry trends, we excel at enriching the lives and careers of our numerous members and are proud to be in an industry that affects the lives of so many individuals and families.
